Help & FAQ

My plan is empty.

Check that you're opening the app from the Home Screen icon, not the browser. If you switched devices or cleared browser data, restore your latest backup.

How do I track who's bringing what?

When you add a dish or drink, choose the guest under “Who's making it” or “Who's bringing it.” It then shows on that guest's card automatically.

How is my budget calculated?

The app adds up the costs on your shopping list, drinks and decor & setup lists. Enter each cost once, on the list where the item lives. Items guests are bringing don't count toward your budget.

How is the headcount calculated?

Guests coming adds up adults and kids for everyone who replied Yes. Maybes are shown separately.

I can't find Add to Home Screen.

Open the link in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, not inside Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.

How do I move my plan to a new phone?

Download a backup on the old phone, then use Restore from backup on the new one.

Can I use it for another event?

Yes. Use Start a new event. Download a backup first if you want to keep your current plan. The app holds one event at a time. To keep several, download a backup for each event, then use Restore to switch between them.

What’s the difference between my plan and my backup?

Your plan (PDF) is for reading, printing and sharing. Your app backup is a safety copy only this app can read, used to restore your plan on this or another device.
